Hello, I'm Joseph Baker, founder of Tiny Lemon Studios. I'm a photographer specialising in events, sports, and equine Photography. My focus is on capturing real, meaningful moments and creating images that feel genuine and considered. My photography is rooted in a deep appreciation for people, places, and the atmosphere that connects them.
With over ten years of experience behind the camera, I’ve worked across a wide variety of settings and industries. This has given me a strong understanding of how to adapt to different environments, briefs, and client needs. I approach each shoot with care and creativity, aiming to produce imagery that feels thoughtful, genuine, and visually engaging.
My approach is shaped by a deep appreciation for honest, observational photography. Influences like Antonin Kratochvil, William Eggleston, Sebastião Salgado, Joel Meyerowitz, Irving Penn, and Don McCullin have all played a role in how I see the world through the lens. I’m drawn to imagery that feels real and considered – photographs that hold quiet weight, whether in a fleeting glance, a shift in light, or the atmosphere of a place. That’s what I aim to capture in my own work.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients both across the UK and internationally. From photographing a proud fishmonger in Hastings to working alongside global brands and high-profile professionals, I treat every project with the same level of care, focus, and creative intent.
My work has been recognised at Windsor Castle, and I was proud to receive the Rankin Photography Award – an honour that affirmed my commitment to storytelling through imagery. I’ve also collaborated with organisations such as Major League Baseball (MLB), Aviva Rugby, and other top-level sporting and business clients.
I hold a Master’s degree in Game Art, which plays a significant role in how I approach photography. My experience working with Unreal Engine and building digital environments taught me how to think deeply about light, space, and composition. These principles now inform how I shoot in real-world settings, allowing me to bring a cinematic edge to my photography while staying grounded in the real emotions and details of each moment.
Tiny Lemon Studios is based in Buckinghamshire, and I regularly travel across the UK and abroad for projects. Whether I'm covering a live music event in London, documenting a project build in Europe, or photographing a fan experience for an international brand, I bring the same professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail to every shoot.
I work in a calm, collaborative way. I take time to understand your vision and your goals, so that the end result feels authentic to you. Whether you're a small business owner, a global brand, or an individual with a story to tell, I want to help you tell it through imagery that feels powerful, personal, and memorable.
